Multifuntional measurement and diagnostic platform

PODBOX (Persistent Onboard Diagnostic Box) as a multifunctional platform offers custom measurement technology solutions for use in the vehicle or in laboratory and additionally for prototyping algorithms and functions.

Applications

  • PB In-Vehicle Test – automated in-vehicle testing

    PB in-vehicle test enables automated tests of any diagnostic / CAN data.

    Application capabilities:
    Automated tests for prototype vehicles; Easily configurable test cases and sequences in INI file; Test results available offline (in JSON log file)

    PB Tagging Tool – reliable realtime tagging

    As part of C.LYTIX, PB tagging tool enables the tagging of objects, environmental conditions as well as various events during test drives.

    Application capabilities:
    Speed and distance can be logged while tagging; tagging results saved in xml file; Tagging data are downloadable via web interface to a local user PC; Country, road type, day / night status and weather conditions can also be recorded; User comments can be added; Tagging can be paused and be resumed later; Logging of various events possible. It can send the tagging information to an ADTF server. 

    PB Report – Offline reporting for test drives

    Considering the data provided by the PB online tagging tool, the PB Report - a C.LYTIX application - automatically generates a test drive summary report which includes statistical information about distance and time driven under specific user-defined conditions, e.g. weather conditions, road type etc. The data is then exported as an Excel file.

  • PB Log - logging of bus / sensor data and video recording

    All data logs (CAN, video, GPS, online tagging, etc.) are stored and available for easy download.

    PB Smart Meas – visualization of Sensor Data

    PB Smart Meas enables live measurement and visualization of in-vehicle data.

    Application capabilities:
    CAN and GPS data as well as specific CAN signal values can be displayed simultaneously in one of the following views: Table view, Osci view, Bird Eye view, CAN trace and GPS trace

    PB In-Vehicle Diagnostics – automated in-vehicle diagnostics

    PB in-vehicle diagnostic report show vehicle ID, hardware number, list of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC), hardware and software information.

    Application capabilities:

    ECU diagnostics (ODX description file); Generates configurable INI files; Diagnostic results available online (JSON file format)
