With the successful signing of the agreement in Aurangabad (India) on 15.11.2016, an important step was taken to set up the joint venture EC.MOBILITY together with the Indian company, Expert Global Solutions (EGS). This new company will enter the promising growth market in India on 01.01.2017.

The joint venture EC.MOBILITY combines the competences of two highly innovative companies in the fields of automotive and IT. For the success of the merger, CMORE brings with it, its exceptional automotive know-how, especially when it comes to the development and validation of innovative mobility concepts of the future. EGS, on the other hand, boasts highly qualified resources, established processes for engineering projects and local market knowledge.

According to Prashant Deshpande, Managing director EGS – Aurangabad as a location for EC.MOBILITY is a rapidly growing city and has already been established as a center for major companies in the vehicle industry for several years. CMORE and EGS have specifically chosen this location because it offers great potential for future-oriented developments, particularly with its nomination as one of India’s ‘Smart Cities’. He further added that the goal here is to make India’s metropolitan centers more efficient and technologically advanced by strengthening economic productivity through networking, as well as improving existing infrastructure concepts.

At the beginning, each new company has a vision. In this joint venture, this is to cover the distance of around 250km from Pune to Aurangabad with an autonomously driven vehicle which has been produced using the services of EC.MOBILITY.

In order to achieve this goal, the opening of a test center is being planned so that test drives can be conducted for the acquisition of data and functional development, amongst other things.
